Pro-life/Pro-choice Bridging the Gap Working Group

We formed the group Pro-life/Pro-choice: Bridging the Gap to see if we could find some kind of common ground among people who differ on whether abortion should be legal, but who share common beliefs in other areas (social and economic justice, environmental stewardship, etc.). Our goal is mutual respect as we work around this divisive issue, and we have already held one dialogue between pro-life and pro-choice advocates, which went very well.

We intend to continue these dialogues, striving for equal representation from each side, continued respect for one another and our positions on this issue, and the identification of areas where we can work together for the betterment of all.
